As the years passed, I’ve dipped into every single thing that would come around me that spiked my curiosity. I’ve got that brain that wants to know… probably one of the reasons I became a magician from a young age (I was 8 when the passion struck me) and kept this alive to this day. Having this hunger for learning is a gift and a curse I guess. Aligning my focus as been challenging way more then having an idea. I talked to many creatives by now and we all have that internal battle going on internally. I feel like the more I made money with my art, the less of an artist I was. I can talk about some exceptions I’ve seen around me that were able to harness their creativity and structure their business with it. I believe these are rare birds you don’t see often! That being said, as I was explaining in my last post, AI seems to be a gift for me. My technical brain gets fired up and my creative brain gets rewarded for working. That would also explain why photography and 3D are passions of mine, you have all the numbers on one side, and you get that visual representation at the end. AI is no different (for images) and let you swim in an infinite pool of possibilities.
So by now, I’ve gathered a lot of material. In my mind nothing is ever good enough but I get to realise today that I do have a massive amount of material to share. I also have my “Daily Collection” I’m doing and will keep on doing until I reach a year. I feel like it might be hard to stop at the year point – will see then. My next goal is to refresh my website and show the most beautiful things I’ve done more recently and I would like to knock on some new doors now. I was blessed enough to meet this amazing person at work who was generous enough to write me a bio. That shook me, in the best of ways. I’ve never been good at putting into words what I was I guess. I can talk about my work for days, but if you were to ask me who I was artistically, my path has been filled with curves and stop and start and the craziest of surprises along the way.
I’m taking an extra day off every week for the next few weeks to reserve some time to make all this happen. So far I can say I’ve been very productive! I will do my morning training, get all emails done, set a goal for the day and work as efficiently as possible to close that single main goal. I can follow this road map all the way to having my art represented & selling my skills to various industries. My wife working in TV helped me a lot to realise how they work for story boards, who they hire and how they’re being paid.
Keep in mind this is me doing more I’ve ever done with the least free time I’ve ever had. The greatest gift in my life has definitely been having my children. I learn from them more than I teach them I feel. So Eléonore and Emmett, thank you infinitely.
I’ll keep on using some recently generated houses at the top of my journal posts for the next few ones. They are synthesising my vision, my work, my aspirations and my style.
Let’s get that website refreshed shall we.
